Before you call us, juggle the budget, offer us less of a fee, but mention that you will rent a PA - and we are so happy. If you even manage to pay our genius sound mixer woman, you will get Christmas cards every year. For really small locations in Berlin, we bring our own PA. We don’t like to, but we are so nice that frequently we cave in, say “yes” and afterwards hate ourselves for it, because it just doesn’t sound as good as a proper PA-system. So, think about it.

So if you rent a PA for us, this is what we need:

  • Vocals: 3x (Agnes in front center, Andreas on drums, Micz on guitar)
  • Drums: a small kit (18″ bd, two toms, metal snare) will do, Andreas prefers to bring his own cymbals and footpedals
  • Guitar: If you have an amp, fine. If not, we have one DI-Box which needs phantom power for 12″ cab emulation
  • Bass: Raimar is very happy using a DI-Box if you have one and have himself on the monitor only. Otherwise: mike up the amp
  • Keyboards: Line out Kawai K1 and sometimes the Hohner Pianet with a Line 6 Pod (for guitar). Both mono and DI-Box
  • Harmonika: (what’s the English word for that?) Laura plays one of these keyboards you hold in one hand and blow into like a flute. We need one mike for that at the keyboards
